Meet Hanna Russo, M.A.
Nice to meet you— I’m Hanna Russo, a therapist in the Sunshine state. I’m a Graduate Counseling Intern who is passionate about helping people feel seen, heard, and understood.
Why You’re Here
If you’re reading this page, chances are you may be walking through a hard season in life, feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure of where to even begin. Perhaps you want to understand why you feel or act the way you do.
Whatever has brought you here, I aim to offer a space that feels safe, supportive, and free of judgment. In the therapy room, you don’t have to hold it all together or have all the answers. It’s a space where you can set down the mental and emotional weight you’ve been carrying and slow things down, so you can start to make sense of what’s been going on at a pace that’s comfortable for you.
My Therapeutic Approach
I take a holistic approach to therapy, paying attention to both the mind and body, and how our emotional experiences are connected to the way we show up in daily life. I believe healing takes time and effort, but it is very much possible.
I draw from Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and take a client-centered approach. My approach is both compassionate and practical, helping you explore emotional and relationship patterns while also giving you practical tools for change.
Education & Training
I received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Florida Gulf Coast University and my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Louis University. I am supervised by Rebecca Johnson, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and Qualified Supervisor (QS) in the state of Florida.
